Strength:
Push Press - 205 x 1 (PR!)(Fail: Reps 2 and 3), 190 x 3, 190 x 4 (PR!)
Tough day today with the strength work. I settled on 190 lbs and on the second set just needed to do an extra rep.
WOD:
"Grace"
- 30 Clean & Jerks, 135 lbs
Time: 2:55
Scaled weight to 115 lbs to keep the speed up. Next time I'll do 125 lbs shoot for sub-2:45.

Time: 6:29 (PR!!!)
I'm still shocked at how much the Catalyst Athletics programming has improved my CrossFitting in just a few months. I have a long way to go before my cardiovascular system has caught back up to where it used to be, but the extra strength and proficiency in the C&J still pushed me to a new PR.

CrossFit - 29Jan (pm)
Pre:
Overhead Squats
145 x 15
This was terrible today. Really struggled starting at rep 8. Hopefully, it's just general fatigue and I'll bounce back once my body stabilizes.

30 reps, Clean and Jerk 135-lbs (anyhow workout)
This time I did power cleans instead of squat cleans. Broke it up into sets of 5.
Really rough day at work today - busted my ass for 12 hours straight in the sun. I just feel really tired and cranky now. I think it's a combination of the lack of sleep, different work schedule, and sugar withdrawals. Hopefully, I'll be able to rest up and come back recharged after my 2 days off.
